Since i was a kid I've always liked the lines of the Volvo P1800S, it just never had the grunt that such as sporty looking car should be blessed with from the start! Hence when i stumbled onto this car (in Just Cars of course) the project was born!
The Plan
Build the car to be a sleeper. All new running gear, seats, gauges, etc. Transplant a Toyota BEAMS 3S-GE into it. 6 Speed gearbox. Turbo the hell out of it. Strap myself in.... Shit yeah!
Reality
The engine just fits! But it fits.
Its taking a little longer than planned.
true - beautiful lines from a manufacturer one normally associates with boxy sedans. i always preferred the wagon version - especially like how the designer of the C30 has reproduced the tailgate design from it... look forward to seeing more of this project as it continues...
