Getting naked is the name of the game here. It's all about stripping it back to basics in preparation for its new lease on life!

We started by losing the "C.H.I.P.S" style windshield. Then the seat and rear fender were next. (Not to mention the saddle bags and sissy bar!)

As we had already sent the tank and front fender off for paint, we were a couple of steps ahead of the game!

Handle bars need to be removed. We had a slight issue with the left bar grip, so we sort of broke it. Luckily we had planned to put new ones on anyway, so it didnt matter.

Crash bars... not needed. Gone!

We needed to take off the triple trees in order to get the stock indicators off. Small pain, long term gain.

The bike is now nude. Its a slow process, but we are on schedule so bring on the reassembly!

Stay tuned!
