Over the weekend I decided to have a play on the car seeing I had not a lot on. I am in the process of relocating the battery to in cabin. At this stage I am planning on having it under the passenger seat, keeping it low to the ground, helping with centre of gravity. It will also help offset some of the drivers weight when car is corner weighted.
I have purchased a Odyseey pc680 motorsport battery as well as a Battery Switch and Isolation Kit. The kit includes both the Remote Pull Cable, a 6pin battery isolation switch and a Battery Switch Triangle.
I purchased the kit from www.revolutionracegear.com.au
I am still waiting on the battery mounting bracket to arrive so in the mean time I decided to mount the pull cord and run it through the fire wall.
I decided to mount it on the passenger side of the car as it is easier to access a grommet in the fire wall and run it to the switch, that I will be mounting in the dashboard.
This is a very easy install after I had visually mapped out the route of the cable. I drilled an 8.5mm hole through the plastic shroud below the window then feed the cable through. Ran it through a grommet in to where the switch will be mounted. Finishing it off with the triangle sticker.
Once the battery bracket arrives I will then decide on the exact location of the battery and be able to run the battery cable and attach the switch.
