From a drivers point of view it is always important to know what your car is doing when putting it through its paces and pushing it to its limit. That’s why I have chosen to install a Knocklink.
The Knocklink is Knock Sensor Monitor. It is a basic but important little gadget when it has the ability to help save an expensive motor.
It contains a sequence of coloured lights that indicate with severity of your engine knock.
Ranging from green to amber before a larger red light, which indicates to back off the throttle as soon as the light appears.
It is adjustable as each engine is different so you can adjust the sensitivity of the knock indication.
I set min to light up prior to my ECU alert so it notifies me of detonation prior to it being a serious issue.
This device is ideal for people who really care about their expensive Motors, also very easy to install. I mounted mine in the air duct as it happened to be the perfect size and in clear view.
