JUST CARS GEELONG REVIVAL 2012 - Brings Speed Trials back to the Geelong waterfront

The JUST CARS GEELONG REVIVAL 2012 is a reborn Geelong Speed Trials event  and is shaping up to be one of the largest events to ever be held in Geelong and potentially one of the largest historic motoring events this year. One of the most unique features of the Geelong Revival is the natural amphitheatre that the iconic waterfront provides.

The JUST CARS GEELONG REVIVAL 2012 is bringing the historically significant Geelong Speed Trials back to Geelong's famous waterfront. The original event dates back to 1956 having been modeled on the famous UK's Brighton Speed Trials which have runs successfully since 1907

The JUST CARS Geelong Revival 2012 will be a considerably larger event, with music, static displays, entertainment, a gala dinner, live video coverage, markets and a pre-tour to the weekends festivities. An estimated 40,000 people will attend over the two days, many of them from outside the region. The event will feature a mix of cars and motorcycles from the classic era of motoring through to modern day exotic sports cars. Visitors will be able to see tens of millions of dollars worth of collectable cars including examples rarely seen in public.

The JUST CARS Geelong Revival 2012 has played host to such motor racing legends as Sir Jack Brabham, Sir Stirling Moss, Norm Beechey, Johnny Herbert, Mika Hakkinen, Alan Jones, Dick Johnson and Craig Lowndes".

The event will be held in Geelong on the 1st and 2nd of December 2012.
