Seller's Description
1958 Landrover Series IIa.
One of the better ones around, spent the majority of its life running errands on a Vineyard in the Barossa Valley. Has been exceptional well maintained with preventative maintenance to keep it reliable and enjoyable. This is evident upon inspection.
Body is excellent considering the type of car it is and how it was made, I cannot find any rust in it at all, small portion lifting on front passenger side guard.
Interior is excellent with all "features" working as they should bar the temp gauge needed a new sender unit.
Mechanically is excellent, starts in a heartbeat even when sitting idle for a couple of weeks.
Drives as they always have, sit in, hold on and enjoy the journey. Engine is very strong pulls well, gearbox and diff is solid.
Been on full registration most of its life however is currently unregistered. Can supply a temporary vehicle permit for 30 days.
Had a QLD Safety Certificate approx. 9 months ago but as I live in Victoria it was of no assistance to me.
Well worth an inspection, very honest, original and reliable vehicle that has had a sympathetic life.
