Yamaha have released updates to their XV tourers. The XV1900 and XVS1300 ‘Star’ tourers are now available in 'AT' spec, meaning hard leather panniers, pillion backrest and touring windscreen are available on both models.

XV1900AT
The new XV1900AT Star Tourer offers neo-streamline style with the ability to cruise long distances in comfort. With max torque reached at just 2500rpm, the Star Tourer lopes along totally unstressed on just a whiff of throttle. One of the most important features of the XV1900AT’s 1854cc engine is its feeling of direct and instant power.

Additional touring capability is now offered by the newly-released Star Tourer kit comprising a touring windscreen and mounts, lockable hard leather panniers and mounting hardware, and a passenger backrest (tall), backrest pad and side armrest kit.

These are taken from the ‘Star Accessory’ catalogue, which features plenty more bolt-on goodies for owners to modify their XV1900 to suit their own tastes. Raven black paint is standard on the XV1900AT.

The XV1900AT Star Tourer is priced at RRP $24,099 incl GST, which is equivalent to the old standard price, meaning the touring equipment valued at $3,807 is supplied FOC compared to the previous standard model.

The standard model XV1900A, has been reduced to RRP $21,499 incl GST.

XVS1300AT
The touring package on the XVS1300AT is the same as that offered on the XV1900AT, allowing fans of Yamaha’s smaller capacity belt-drive cruiser the same long-range touring ability and comfort.

The XVS1300AT mixes modern and classic styling – what Yamaha call ‘Neo- Streamline’ - for a sportier, hot-rod-inspired ride. The 1304cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, 60 degree V-twin features four valves per cylinder, roller rocker arms and dual crankshaft balancers to produce smooth yet meaty power – delivering a combination of classic V-twin rumble with vibe-free performance at high revs.

As with the XV1900AT, the Star Tourer kit for the XVS1300AT is just the beginning, because there is a whole range of Yamaha genuine accessories to choose from. Raven paint with red pinstripe highlights is standard on the XVS1300AT, too.

With the Star Tourer kit, RRP for the XVS1300AT is just $18,299 incl GST, which includes the Star Tourer kit valued at $3,453.15.

The price of the standard XVS1300A has been reduced by $1,300 to an RRP of $15,999 incl GST.
