New brembo carbon front brake pads, new braided brake lines. Rear brake master cylinder and rear calipers stripped and overhauled using new pistons and seals. Triumph Bonneville T120 1973, this bike is a matching numbers machine and came out of the factory with the T140 oil in frame and disc brake features, but has a 650cc engine. It was imported from the U.K in the early 1990's and was totally restored recently by a local WA motorcycle shop by a factory trained mechanic. The bike has new Amal carburettors, a rebore with new pistons, valves and springs, guides, bearings and a Morgo high output oil pump. The gearbox is refurbished with new bearings, selectors and drives via new sprockets and chain. New stainless steel wheels with stainless spokes and new tyres are fitted, complete with a new front disc with new pads and new rear brake shoes. Every painted part has been refinished in factory colours and all chrome parts have been replated or are new. The engine also has Boyer electronic ignition with new coils, leads, new battery and wiring loom. The list of new parts is endless, but I have all the invoices for the work and parts if required. I believe this bike is as good as it gets and am happy to answer any questions you have about the bike or provide more photos etc.
A genuine Triumph Bonneville 1960 vintage T120 650cc legendary classic. This is a highly collectable pre-unit Triumph Bonneville. This classic 1960 T120 is the 'Duplex' frame Bonneville which has matching engine and frame numbers. It was purchased by the previous owner as an un-restored bike. it has 12 volt wiring and covered only a few thousand miles since the work was completed. This bike has an oil filter and cooler fitted so that it can use quality modern detergent oils. This is a very rare and desirable collectors piece of the sixties that would look absolutely beautiful on display. These genuine pre-unit T120’s are in very short supply and very hard to get. Excellent condition, one female owner, very low kilometers. Wonderful bike to ride with a low centre of gravity, due to the engine placement. The false fuel tank provides ample storage space for bags or a helmet. Unfortunately must sell as unable to ride due to a long standing injury.
