Seller's Description
1954 Moto Guzzi Galletto. The Galletto is the first scooter Moto Guzzi ever produced, and production ran from 1950 to 1965, with a range of different engines. The Galletto was created by Guzzi founder, Carlo Guzzi, who decided to combine the advantages of a motorbike with those of a scooter. The Galletto was unveiled at the 1950 Geneva Motor Show, and was considered an instant success thanks to its comfort and rider safety aspects. During its production four different engines were used over its 75,000 production. The scooter features boasted larger diameter wheels, from 2.75-17 (front tire) and 3.00-17 (rear tire), making it very suitable for long journeys and for carrying heavy loads. Maximum speed around 85kph, and it weighed only 107 kg dry. The beautiful Moto Guzzi Galletto, powered by the 192cc, kick-start only motor, has been faithfully refurbished with receipts and papers that show the total cost exceeds the current asking price. Located with our Italian partner, the advertised price includes shipping & arrival charges into Sydney.
