Seller's Description
Built in 1979 to commemorate ‘Mike the Bike's’ famous Isle of Mann TT victory, the early 79/80 models are by far the most sought after and rarest of all MHR's. This bike was first registered in Austria in January 1980, and has had only two owners prior to being purchased by RaiderMoto. First sold by MotorRad Austria, then it passed to a private collector in the UK where it sat on display from 1984 until acquired by us. The mileage is genuine as are the original purchase receipts and ownership transfer papers, this is a very rare motorcycle that is guaranteed to increase in value. First edition MHR's are now commanding between 35 and 40kGBP (circa 80kAUD + shipping). This bike is available in as-is condition but is scheduled for a concourse renovation after which it will return to market with a minimum 80k asking price.
