1913 Indian Hedstrom Big Twin TT - 2 speed Model. This is an excellent restoration project with much of the difficult to get components present and in great condition. All the tinware except the oil tank is there and as the pics show, in very good condition. A sound frame with no rust. Excellent original Forks with all the correct suspension components. Rear Suspension components present. New handlebars, correct 2 speed transmission and clutch components. Original seat and parts, new handlebars. Correct 36 spoke 23inch wheels including some brake components. This would make a relatively simple restoration with very little to find to complete the machine. Missing parts are readily available reproduction from suppliers in the USA and Canada. This is a very rare veteran Indian that with the Big Twin Motor and 2 speed transmission makes for a very usable machine. I welcome inspections of this bike or please call for further details.

AJS 1924 D1, 800cc V-twin. Restoration completed by me in 2010, about 1500km since. Strong runner and a very usable vintage machine. Stainless spokes, wired rims and a Pilgrim oil pump means trouble free riding. I have done 250km in a day on this bike, ridden in 2nd gear up one of the steepest climbs in Australia to Queen Mary Falls and displayed it on many occasions. It is a well known machine and much admired. Extensive photo collection of restoration process. Lighting kit included, new clutch fitted, all my spares included at this price.
FOR AUCTION DECEMBER 10th, MELBOURNE, VIC. 1926 BSA 500cc SIDE-VALVE FLAT TANK 4.93 HP MODEL S26 Engine No: M5527 This fully optioned example was found by the current owner in the mid-north South Australia region after fossicking around farms and home sheds over time seeking out interesting bikes. It was comprehensively and sensitively restored about 30 years ago. This charming piece of motorcycling history is believed to be Australian delivered and boasts its original acetylene headlamp; Amac carburettor and period tank fittings including the combined priming and petrol tap and BSA type spring forks fitted with taper spring and shock absorbers. It operates with a "V type " rim friction brake system. The clutch is contained in a large chain wheel with a floating dry plate described in early specification material as “indestructible”. This vintage motorcycle has a total loss oil system. It was in good running order when it was last started several years ago and has been kept in storage since. The fuel tank, although structurally sound, is crusty looking on the inside with rusty fuel deposits and varnish. It will need cleaning and or re sealing before use. With the passage of time it is likely that only a small number of this model have survived. With the strong and dedicated following that BSA attracts, a sound support network for owners from clubs and specialists around the world is available making this vintage BSA a viable and desirable acquisition.
Featuring the indomitable Indian Scout 600cc motor which was first released in 1920 this great little project bike is already half way there. The frame and cycleparts are pretty much on place. The engine is complete and assembled you just need to finish off the primary and transmission. Most of the parts seem to be there and its all simple technology. what is missing is generator (if you want to run lights (most people run a rechargeable camerabattery just topower the stop lamp.) Battery box magneto rear brakes (Indian never used front brakes until1928)
Offered for sale is a late 1926, possibly very early 1927 Indian Chief outfit. An older restoration of an original bike. This machine has been in a private collection for many years and has recently been recommissioned. A fresh wiring harness has been fitted to the bike with all electrical fittings are now in working order. New 6 Volt battery fitted. Bike has been gone through during the recommissioning process with work to the carby and an overhauled magneto fitted. Starts easily, clutch and trans are good. Shifts well, rides well. Fitted to the bike is a nice princess style sidecar, rust free. This would make an excellent vintage rally bike. Please call for further information. I welcome inspections of this bike. Price is negotiable.
