Seen as the economic salvation for Ducati during its state-ownership period, the Mike Hailwood Replica (MHR) was the most prolific production model during the early 80’s, a factor that up until recent, has limited the models growth in value compared to its higher profiled, smaller production siblings of similar vintage. Ostensibly a Supersport with full fairing, the MHR has allowed many enthusiasts to own and experience the magic that is exclusive to Bevel Ducati ownership. Whilst still much cheaper than any Supersport, MHR’s are now gaining the respect they deserve, particularly in the UK where 81-84 examples are selling from between 16 and 25k GBP depending on originality, and the much rarer 79-80 models are attracting mid to late 30’sGBP, and continue to rise! This particular example is one of the last kick-start versions produced, and has had only 2 previous owners. Delivered new in Italy it was purchased from the first owner and imported into Japan by the owner of Ducati Nagoya. Ridden sparingly, mostly with Japan Ducati Owners Club outings, the bike spent most of its life on display in the owners Ducati Nagoya showroom. Having sat idle for many years, before selling to its current owner, Ducati Nagoya carried out a full service, replaced the old tyres, performed a valve clearance check and basic pre-delivery check, photos of which are included in the photo selection. Retaining perfect patina for its relatively low 12,000k’s use, this bike has seen infrequent outings over the past years of local ownership, but has been well cared for and well maintained. Sitting part of an impressive car collection, this rare kick-start 84 offers excellent buying opportunity and will continue to grow in value and desirability. The 851 was Ducati’s successor to their air-cooled two-valve Supersport. Massimo Bordi had actually designed a 4V Desmo in 1973, but struggling under state ownership there was no funding to development the concept. All that changed after new investment and passion from Cagiva allowed Bordi and Ducati to make massive technological advances which in-turn led to the now famous liquid cooled four-valve desmodromic engine. Under the Cagiva name, 1985 saw Bordi’s concept make production as the Desmoquattro. Based on the Pantah motor, liquid cooling, fuel injection, and desmodromic four valve heads, the 851 made Ducati once again competitive in the world of motorcycle racing. This particular example is in beautiful condition albeit with a few minor enhancements. Travelled only 15,478k’s, this bike has remained in a small collection inside the owner’s living room. The bike will be serviced and made ready for registration pending sale. • 1968 Benelli Leoncino Scrambler ``Hunters Special``, this is an extremely rare model that was produced in very limited numbers exclusively for the North American market. The current owner was advised that less than 50 of these bikes were ever produced, but if anyone can assist with additional information of the model please feel welcome to contact. And we shall update the add accordingly. This bike was owned previously by a collector in Italy who had it parked in his living room. It was always properly maintained and stored since new. Its condition can be described as truly exceptional for a 49 year old motorcycle. Mileage looks to be original at 1,710 miles. The bike starts on the first or second kick and below is a video of a genuine cold start and idle. The owner believes the paint is original, as are emblems and decals, and similarly believe the tyres are still the factory originals. This ``Hunters Special`` was fitted with dual rear sprocket arrangement; a smaller sprocket for riding on country roads, but if you wanted to go off-road you could switch to a larger sprocket to attack more rugged trails. The Hunters Special was also fitted with a special utility rack, as can be seen in the pics. Sale includes the original grey cover owner’s handbook from Italy, produced in 1968. The Norton Commando was a bike that spawned many variants just based on cosmetic differences. The most collectible of these models was the John Player Norton Commando, a distinctive endurance-inspired Norton with unique bodywork surrounding a completely stock Mark 2A Commando. Strikingly different in 1974, the unique styling caught the eyes of many enthusiasts who were obsessed with the latest form of motorcycle competition; endurance racing. This specific John Player Norton Commando has matching serial numbers, and has been garaged for the majority of its 40+ years. With only 200 JPS’ ever built these are most definitely far and few between, and it’s not often one in this condition is found. This is no replica of a replica, but a genuine John Player Special Norton. • In the world of collectible motorcycles, no manufacturer can equal the broad-based desire of Ducati. If a list was compiled of every bike in every collection around the globe, it would come as no surprise to see Ducati as the most dominate marque, and there is no model more sought-after than the 1974 750 Supersport, better known as the Greenframe. Whilst there are many other bikes that are far rarer, and command much higher values, the Greenframe has become the ultimate trophy – no collection is considered complete if there is a Greenframe missing. The world’s obsession with Greenframes has driven their values beyond the reach of most enthusiasts and planted them firmly into the world of Van Gogh, Monet, and other examples of irreplaceable collectibles; owners of Greenframes are but Custodians. Sadly many Greenframes are hidden away like pieces of valuable art, but for the true enthusiast, owning an asset that has out-performed almost every form of investment on earth runs a distant second place to the joy and exhilaration of riding one through the hills and byways – there is no other sound like that of bevel Ducati. This particular example was sold by Raidermoto.com in 2013 and although ridden occasionally, it has predominantly sat in a temperature controlled showroom alongside a sizable Bevel collection. Relevant features of the bike as below. Four previous owners. All ownership history documented. Bike is sold with ultra-rare original delivery papers / documentation. Previous owner bought bike from Book Henry (VeeTwo). Bike was restored approximately 20 x years ago & remained in perfect condition. Bike has been fastidiously maintained and serviced. Bike has travelled approximately 10,000k’s since restored. The Entire Ducati MHR model was created to celebrate Mike Hailwood’s spectacular victory at the 1978 Isle of Man F1 race. Released at the 1979 Earl’s Court Motor Show, the original model was branded ‘900 Replica’, and it was only from 1981 onwards that the model was officially titled ‘Mike Hailwood Replica’. Whilst opinions vary over the first batch numbers, it is believed by many that only 300 1979 models were produced, although initially the factory announced only 200 limited edition 900 Replica’s would be built. It is also believed that the first batch were produced with fibreglass fuel tanks, which was changed to a fibreglass replica cover over a regular 900 SS metal tank, due to a last minute discovery that fibreglass fuel tanks were illegal in the UK. The first models also used a single seat and came with a certificate of authenticity. The engine was identical to that of the 900 SS and came with 40mm Dell’Orto carburetors and Conti exhaust mufflers. This particular example is a replica of the highly sought-after 1979 model, built from a genuine 1981 Mike Hailwood Replica 900. As the photos detail, the bike is offered in concourse condition and is somewhere in the region of $10k under the build price. For anyone seeking the alpha supermoto, then the Bimota DB10R is the only ride in town to satisfy that itch. Only 5 DB10 R’s were ever built, and only one exists in Australia! This bike is showroom perfect, having travelled only a fraction over 2,000k’s, it lives in its owners lounge room. As if the awesome DB10 wasn’t enough, the R model is on steroids! The L-2 (not V-2) 1078cc desmo twin thumper pumps out 95hp at 7700rpm in stock Euro dumbed-down emissions spec. (add a rapid-bike ecu controller and sub 120’s will be a thing of the past) The R’s WOW factor is in the high-end up-grades i.e., Brembo radial master cylinders & uprated Brembo stopper’s, Extreme-tech Marzocchis, gooey racing tires, STM Slipper clutch, a 5mm shorter wheel base for improved manoeuvrability, lightweight aluminium rims, and a 10mm drop in seat height compliments of the slightly shorter suspension. In the black-bling department there is a ton of carbon fibre that results in a svelte 172kgs!!! Rumour has it that this model DB10 may be the last year Bimota use the air-cooled thumper; word on the street is they will move to the heavier liquid cooled desmo. • 1954 MONDIAL 200 FOR SALE

    $10,900

Mondial is by far one of the greatest names in the history of Italian motorcycles, and in our opinion, seldom receives the respect and admiration it so richly deserves. Based in Bologna, FB-Mondial ran from 1948 till 1979, but is mostly known for their Grand Prix racing success of the 1950’s during which it won 5 World Championships, and ushered in a plethora of advent-garde designs and revolutionary technology. Long before Ducati, Mondial had designed and built a bike with desmodromic valve actuation, but alas it did not go into production. The ``F.B.`` in Mondial represented ``Fratelli Boselli``, a noble family from Milan. During a time when MV Agusta and Ducati produced economy lightweight two-stroke motorcycles, mopeds and scooters, Mondial produced high-quality 2 & 4-stroke sporting motorcycles. The Mondial factory in Milan was much smaller than its larger competitors, Moto Guzzi, Gilera or Benelli, and was more of a ``boutique`` manufacturer, specializing in high-performance, small-displacement motorcycles. Much of the production was done by hand, which kept output to between 1,000 and 2,000 units per year. Such was the respect and dominance of Mondial that in 1949 MV Agusta purchased a Mondial which they used as the blueprint for the famous marque’s new 4-stroke motorcycle. In the face of rising costs and a reduction in sales, the entire Italian motorcycle industry collectively decided to end Grand Prix racing at the end of the 1957 championship, and all followed-through with the agreement except MV, who saw it as an opportunity to win, and they did with little or no real competition from Mondial who was so dominate in the years preceding MV’s entry into Grand Prix racing. This particular Mondial 200 has been beautifully restored and has matching numbers. Presently with our Italian agent the advertised excludes shipping & arrival costs. • This Ducati TT2 replica is genuine racer with serious history and track cred. Starting with a new Verlicchi replica TT2 chrome-moly frame, it uses RaceTech emulators & Works Performance rear dampener, overhauled by the factory with dyno sheets. The frame and geometry were set up in Atlanta, Georgia, using the very latest laser frame alignment system. Originally built using an aluminium swing-arm, modified to suit the Honda rims, the original steel swing-arm is included in the spares The entire engine & gearbox was built by American Pantah Guru Bruce Meyers. The engine is a 650 dry clutch modified to 750, with both carbs facing rearward. Inlet manifolds matched the intakes & tapered for higher air-speed/flow. Oversize valves, 900ss cams for a smoother increase in torque & less peakiness than the factory spec cams. Compression 13.5 to 1, Wiseco pistons developed by Meyers himself, Carrillo rods and lightened crank. Lightened clutch & flywheel using the Ed Milich (Ducpower) modifications. The bike runs in total loss, but the starter motor is in place. The bike weighs-in at just under 154kg including starter; fraction under 79kg on the front axle, 77 at the rear. Wheels are from a CBR600 F2, which are definitely not light, so extra weight savings are readily available. The present owner raced this bike for a number of years in the USA. What started out as “maybe the odd club event”, soon turned into chasing regional and national championships around the USA. It’s been raced in the south east (USA) each year at Road Atlanta (Georgia), Virginia International Speedway (Virginia), Barber Motorsports park (Alabama), Roebling Road Raceway (Georgia), Little Talladega (Tennessee), Daytona (Florida), Nashville (Tennessee), Jennings-GP (Florida), Palm Beach International Raceway (Florida). It won a national novice championship in the WERA Clubman series, and was runner up in the Vintage 5 WERA National class twice. There were also three or four regional championships in V5 & clubman before the owner moved to Australia where it has done only a few track days at Phillip Island. A good host of spares are available with the bike subject to sale price, and include a spare set of wheels with rain tyres, a range of new & good used slicks; range of gearing sizes for the 520 chain, different weight fork springs & different weight rear shock spring and more. • Starting life as a road going 500, this spectacular bike was built by one of the Australian Ducati racing legends, Mike Soderland, owner of Gowanloch Ducati. This bike produces around 70Hp and weighs in at only 145kgs. Using a # 350 crank, balanced and chemically polished at the F1 car company in Melbourne, the engine mods result in a 50mm stroke and 80mm bore, thus ensuring compliance with Period 5 racing regs. The entire build was performed with a ‘no expense’ attitude; Carillo rods and Pistons, 900ss cams, bigger valves, heads ported and flowed to suit the larger valves, hydraulic clutch with carbon fibre plates, and a close ratio gear box that has been strengthened to eliminate racing concerns. Silent Hetik ignition, Gianelli race muffler modified for the increase in output, lightweight exhaust flanges, lightweight aluminium foot pegs and rear sets. The stock frame was strengthened and braced, 38 mm Marzocchi forks with 280mm rotors and larger callipers, and Boer adjustable rear springs. The build is complimented with freshly painted NCR Body Work. A truly fabulous looking bike that could, if required, be returned to street use. Racing achievements after current owners 25 year hiatus from racing: 1) Finished 12th outright in field of 52 bikes at BSFOS 2) 5th in BSFOS P5 500 after missing one wet race 3) Finished 2nd in 2016 PCRA Period 5 – 500cc (competed only 4 of 5 rounds) 4) Finished 2nd in the 2016 PCRA Period 5 – 750cc (competed only 4 of 5 rounds) 5) Finished 4th in NZ trans-Tasman series against TT2 600 juniors and TZ 350’s For further information, more or better resolution photos, shipping, price or provenance inquiry, please feel welcome to contact RaiderMoto.com during office hours on +61 2 66512405, cell +61 423 559656, email mybike@raidermoto.com, or find us on Facebook RaiderMoto.com IMPORTANT!!Advertised price may include shipping concessions and/or be subject to currency exchange rate fluctuation – please contact RaiderMoto.com to confirm the location of this item and establish the price relative to the current exchange-rate.

The Desmosedici needs little introduction. The dream of all GP enthusiasts is to own a true GP replica, and in 2004 that finally came possible with creation of the Desmosedici RR; the first-ever road-going motorcycle to offer such a stunning wealth of performance and technology that came directly from Ducati's experience in MotoGP racing. The D16 was created in, and by, Ducati’s Corse Grand Prix racing department, and was a replication of the Desmosedici GP6, the same bike with which Loris Capirossi and Sete Gibernau competed in the 2006 MotoGP World Championship, and that a year later Casey Stoner would clinch the MotoGp World Championship. The body design and aerodynamics faithfully reflect the Desmosedici GP6, as does the colour scheme, bodywork fittings and materials used in its construction, as well as the technical features of the powerful four-cylinder desmodromic engine built by the Borgo Panigale factory engineers. All these points leave no doubts whatsoever to the Desmosedici RR being the ultimate expression of the most extreme MotoGP racing machine today. This particular D16 is with our Italian partner and is in showroom original condition. Travelled only 1,200k’s, the bike has spent most of its time in a Ducati display.
