ASTON MARTIN DB9 VOLANTE (MY06) The hand-built Aston Martin DB9 has an instant effect on all sorts of people drawn to its superb shape and classy presence. Under the surface the car is built using an extruded aluminium space frame and beneath the aluminium bonnet is a six-litre V12 engine delivering 335kW and 570nM of torque via a ZF six-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shift. With the gearbox mounted over the rear axle, the weight distribution is near perfect. This Volante convertible looks so classy whether the roof is up or down. The exhaust note is mellow at lower engine revs but when you wind it out, there is an amazing sound that will keep you coming back for more. This example has full Aston Martin dealer service history and was delivered new in 2006. With satellite navigation (it appears from the timber dash panel), electric leather seats and full electric roof operation. We can arrange door to door delivery Australia-wide. Now on display in our new showroom.
FOR AUCTION DECEMBER 10th, MELBOURNE, VIC. It is believed just two, possibly three, of these Australian Moke ‘Californian’ 4-wheel drive prototypes were produced, of which only one survives. The Moke offered here is the surviving Prototype. When production of the Moke ceased in November 1981, this 4WD car was loaned to the National Motor Museum in Birdwood, South Australia before later being sold by tender to Desmond Nudl, the MD of Port Darwin Motors in the Northern Territory who stored the car for some ten years. The car was subsequently sold in 2000 and all parts as required including brake hoses, rear brake wheel cylinders and perished rubber parts including cv boots were replaced by the new owner. The steering rack was overhauled with boots and bushes replaced. A new water pump was also fitted and at the same time the starter motor was overhauled, along with the alternator, carburettor, brake and clutch master cylinders, clutch slave cylinder, and the radiator serviced and fitted with new hoses. The roof and seat vinyl and side curtains were replaced by ‘The Toy Shop’ in WA, when sold in 2000. The car was purchased by the current owner in 2013. This prototype features all the normal Californian options such as disc brakes, bull bars and inertia-reel seat belts and has been restored to a standard maintaining its authenticity and provenance. The odometer shows just 280 kms and the car still sits on what is believed to be its original special tyres. Some unusual parts are fitted and numbers are not matching as this vehicle was hand-built in the Engineering Department at Leyland’s Moorebank facility. It is accompanied by a photographic record of the works carried out in 2000/2001. The vehicle was extensively featured in an article entitled ‘Four Wheel Moking’ in Mini Magic magazine; it was tested by 4x4 Magazine in 1982, and is highlighted with a photo on page 102 in ‘Moke: The History’ by the Mini Moke Club in England. A truly unique opportunity to become the new owner of the truly unique and well documented Mini Moke 4WD Prototype.

The head has been machined and ported (fitted with large Chev inlet and exhaust valves), it has screw-in rocker studs, chrome molly guide plates, push rods and double valve springs, Sig Erson 1.6:1 roller rockers and original aluminium Tiger rocker covers. 1968 TRIUMPH TR5 ROADSTER WITH OVERDRIVE This beautiful roadster was styled by the Italian vehicle designer Giovanni Michelotti, wearing a very similar look of the TR4A, but now with a powerful 2.5 litre straight 6-cylinder fuel injected engine producing 150bhp (110kw). The sales brochure of the day claimed it to be `` the first British production sports car with petrol injection`` The result is a very lively sportscar with all the best options of the time, chrome wire wheels, overdrive and a tonneau cover, making it the best of British classic motoring. Built between August 1967 and September 1968, it is the smallest production model in TR history with only 2947 RHD units made, this is one of the prettiest and certainly most collectable TRs. We are very proud to offer this example and we know the next owner will feel the same pride of ownership. Now on display in our new showroom. We can arrange transport door to door Australia-wide.

1954 CHEVROLET CORVETTE C1 A very cool car. It all began when the first Corvette was shown in January 1953. Whilst essentially the same car was produced in 1954, there were only 300 units in '53 and they are now valued at more than twice the price of the 1954 cars. These Corvettes were all built in fibreglass and fitted with the Chevrolet 6 cylinder blue flame engine - 235 cu in.,150 bhp with triple Carter downdraught carburettors. A Powerglide two speed automatic was fitted to all cars because there wasn't a strong enough manual available then. Weight distribution is 53/47 per cent and the wheelbase length is 102 inches. This one is in the original Polo white with red upolstery. A great looking car and in my opinion a safe investment - only 3640 were built in 1954. A similar car was auctioned in Australia recently, fetching $116,000. We can arrange door to door delivery Australia-wide. On display in our new showroom.
