Additional services available: Qualified AAA rated 3rd Party Inspector report: $550AUD Below are the specifications detailed by the Owner; Up for sale is a good running and driving, numbers matching 1968 Chevy Corvette roadster. Drivetrain: The original numbers matching 327 small block is still in the car and runs great. It starts right up, has good power, good oil pressure and doesn't smoke or leak. I have attached a photo of the front pad of the block showing the last 9 digits of the VIN and also a photo of the suffix code of HO that were stamped in the block from the factory. The casting number is 3914678. The transmission is a Turbo 400 automatic that shifts good, doesn't leak or slip. The original independent Corvette rear end is under the car and it feels like it has around a 3.42 gear ratio. The factory Ram Horn cast iron exhaust manifolds are in good shape and run through dual exhaust out the back of the car. The car came from the factory with air conditioning but is currently missing the compressor, lines, etc. SUSPENSION: The car has all of the original independent front and rear suspension under it and it handles well. It has power steering that feels tight and responsive and power 4 wheel disc brakes that stop the car very well. The 15`` Ralley wheels are in good shape, the trim rings and center caps are nice and the tires have plenty of tread left on them. EXTERIOR: The paint is an older single stage job but it shined up well with a good buffing. The convertible top is in really good shape and goes up and down easily. The latches for the convertible top work well. The top has a plastic rear window that has some very light scuffs but is not in bad shape. The front bumper looks to be in good shape but the rear bumper could stand to be re-chromed. All of the glass is in good shape. The windshield has one tiny stone chip right in the middle of the windshield. The headlights work, and the vacuum operated headlight doors open and close well. The windshield wipers work well and the door comes up and goes down smoothly when turning on and off the wipers. INTERIOR The interior is in good shape overall. The driver side door panel has a crack in it but the passenger door panel is in good shape. The dash pad has one tiny crack on the top right hand side but is in good shape otherwise. The seat covers are in good shape and do not have any large major tears. The wood steering wheel is in good shape. The radio is an older unit that seems to work well. There are speakers in the doors and two 6x9's in the back of the car under the convertible top cover. The power antenna even still works. All of the gauges except for the tachometer and fuel gauge work as they should. The power windows go up and down quickly and smoothly. _________________________________________________________________ Dealer Comments & Vehicle Disclaimer; This vehicle is a PRIVATE SALE BY OWNER and is not consigned to the Dealer. I have owned this car since 1978 This unique fiat 5oo (topolino) Is a 1937 model I brought it with me from Malta in 1982. I have all import papers for it. This is a rare car as this model was never imported into Australia. Believed to be the oldest one in The country. Only 46,000 of this model built and sold all over Europe. Has never been registered in Australia. Last registered in Malta in 1962. Car is drivable. Engine was rebuilt and has only done a few miles mainly on and off the trailer, on my property or at shows. It was also used in the film “the thorn birds” I am willing to deliver it to within a Couple of hundred ks. If interested speak to tony or ring I would like to get close to $25,000 for it but i will consider close offers.
This TF is a beautiful car and has been restored. It is a pleasure to drive. The interior and exterior are in very good condition. It is stored in my garage and is kept covered. It runs on unleaded fuel. It is a 1954 model. It always starts without any trouble. I have had it for a few years but my busy life prevents me from enjoying it. It needs an owner who understands the value of older cars and has the time to give her the TLC she deserves. She is well worth the money and goes up in value not like the modern cars.
Barely driven, always stored in enclosed garage. Soft top powered convertible in excellent condition. Right hand drive conversion. Will assist with cost of transport to buyer if required. 5ltr V8 Right Hand drive automatic.
Ford '28 A Roadster Old School Hotrod Steel Body with F/G rear quarters and bootlid Doors lengthened 3" Chopped 1.5" Dickie Seat Sidevalve V8 coupled to a Powerglide Transmission 1948 Ford diff (3.78 ratio ) Engineer approved and on Full QLD Reg. 99% of the car is built using parts pre 1940 to obtain authenticity. Every Hotrod is unique in it's build , some builders strive to produce a shiny , bling filled car rarely used but beautiful to look at , others a car with massive horsepower and capable of high speeds combined with safety. This car was built recreating an era long gone when life and motoring were simpler, the finished product is a clone of Hotrods from the '50's - '60's that gives the appearance of being in a time warp and recently discovered, hence everything although newly assembled gives the appearance of having seen the ravages of time. If you are searching for a shiny fast hotrod with windows , carpet , a radio and other mod cons then look elsewhere as this one is bare bones Hotrodding and perfectly suited to old school rodders.
Oldtimer Australia is delighted to offer a 1965 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III Drop Head Coupe by Mulliner Park Ward. According to the factory build sheets chassis number SRJ817C was ordered new through Rolls Royce agent RS Meade Ltd for Sir J (Joseph) Arthur Rank, a British industrialist who was head and founder of the Rank Organisation and a pioneer of the British film industry. The car was ordered in ming blue with off white leather upholstery and blue carpets. It is not known whether Rank actually took delivery of the car or in fact sold it very soon after acquisition as there is information on file to suggest that the car was actually delivered new to a Mr K Wylie Esq of Knaresborough in the north of England. Wylie owned the car a short time before it was sold through London based Rolls Royce specialists Jack Barclay Limited. The car was first registered in the UK as DRX135C.Today the car presents and drives very well. The car is understood to have been repainted some ten years ago and the paintwork still carries a high gloss. The car has obviously been used as there is the odd light paint scratch or mark evident. All of the chrome and exterior trim are in very good condition. Inside the car is superb. The leather seats, door cards, carpets etc are in excellent condition as is the woodwork, instruments and controls. Mechanically the car looks to be well sorted. The car starts easily and it settles into a smooth idle. The engine pulls strongly and the gauge shows it has excellent oil pressure and the engine runs cool. Out on the open road the car ’glides along’ and handles as one would expect, the gear changes are smooth and the brakes firm. The soft top is in good condition and the electronic hood works as it should. The car has an original Handbook with Power Operated Hood Systems booklet, an original sales brochure and UK price list for the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III range by Mulliner Park ward, other maintenance books and cards, the original Rolls Royce build sheets and factory documentation, two books on Arthur Rank who ordered the car new, a history file with a number of service receipts, some period photos etc and the original UK number plates DRX135C. Any coach built Rolls Royce presents a unique opportunity, however, an open top coach built Rolls Royce presents a very unique opportunity indeed. This car is Rolls Royce style and elegance personified! The price is AUD $479,500.
