I originally found this car in 2009 but owner would not sell then. It is straight and clean. At some stage in its life it has had a colour change from black. It is a “one year only” design – 1962, with only 6024 convertibles ever produced. It featured the new lightweight unibody “B” platform and Chrysler’s torsion bar front suspension, which gave the car excellent rigidity and with it’s near ideal geometry, provided very sound handling, braking and acceleration . It is a push button auto, with a 318 or 361 poly V8 engine.

Very rare and collectable 1959 El Camino in very original condition, has some desirable options such as rear wheel arch spats, fender mounted spot light and rear chrome rails. Still has its original wheels and hubcaps with white line tyres. Running a 350 stock engine with 3 speed auto transmission, both in excellent running condition, interior is all original factory trim as far I can tell and does have some wear, paint is a 7 out of 10 with some chips and scratches but still presents very nicely, all chrome is in great shape with no pitting or damage. Body has no rust; passenger side rear quarter is a slightly darker red due to a repaint years ago. The subframe is solid and straight with no rust. Priced very reasonably for a quick sale. Can offer up to 12 months layby on this car.
