Seller's Description
After spending 5 years and $74k (excluding purchase cost) to get the Imperial registered and back on the road, I now find myself having to sell it. I was fortunate to start with a car which has no real rust issues, a sound engine and transmission and acceptable paint and chrome work. The interior has been completely redone (roof lining, seats and carpets) in its original metallic silvery blue, the dash pad and steering wheel likewise re-done. The door panel trim needs to be completed. I have the panels and upholstery for this (I also have carpet ready to line the trunk). Brakes, steering and suspension have been seen to along with a myriad of other minor and major components, eg it has a new fuel tank and sender unit. Call me if you would like me to email you scanned copies of all the work undertaken by Finch Restorations. I have the original wheel trims (in excellent condition) as well as a heap of spares (including window glass) and the air conditioning equipment. The artillery wheels on the car are the original standard wheels normally hidden under the wheel trim. The spare wheel is the same. It has brand new 225x75x15 white wall tyres. Some of the pics show the car with standard wheel trim and black wall tyres or white walls. Other pics show it with a centre cap and with or without chrome rim trim. I like the artillery wheel look myself but I’d be tempted to paint them grey or silver or red. Suit yourself!
