1960 Morris Minor 1000 Convertible, totally rebuilt, re-bodied, repainted in two-pack paint, newly upholstered (hood and interior), with 1275cc BMC engine, and 5-speed gearbox. Production record checked at Gaydon (UK), and was originally built as a Factory Convertible, and so the vital parts of this Factory convertible have been expertly transposed into a sound 1960 bodyshell. Morris Major 9” front brakes, Twin-circuit remote-reservoir brake master-cylinder for safety, Converted to use tubular rear-shocks, Radial tyres (Michelin), fitted to subtly wider (1970 Morris Minor) wheel rims, all powder-coated silver, Sports exhaust to suit the engine, new inertia-reel seat belts, superb wine-red vinyl hood/top, expertly made and fitted by long-served Trimmer, Identical wine-red beading to rear guards, for contrast, Two-pack Pepper-white paint (a BMW MINI colour), classy beige vinyl interior, all done by the same Trimmer tradesman.
