With it's simple/stowable hood, external pull door handles, wire wheels and front disc brakes the MG B had all the ingredients needed. Starting with the tried and tested MGA 1600 B series engine, BMC once again re bored the hearty engine, resulting in the 1.8L MG B. In October of 1964 the first and only major engine re-design came into effect, adding stability and reliability to the engine in the form of two extra main bearings, taking the total to five. This MkI B has been completely repainted in a Rich Red, set off by the 15” painted wire wheels, very tidy Black interior and brightwork, including luggage rack. Fitted with all the basic creature comforts, the MG has a modern Thermo Fan for keeping the engine cool in traffic, a CD player, twin outlet 12volt sockets for GPS/Phone charging and a Wood Rimmed Motolita steering wheel.
