Seller's Description
Introduced in July 1970, Holden's HG model was the third and final update of the HK/HT series, apart from a revised grille the sheetmetal was largely unchanged. The Monaro was again the hero car of the full-size Holden range with its pillarless fastback styling. The GTS package included the option of stripes, houndstooth trim and a wide range of distinctive colours, plus full instrumentation (including tacho). With the Torana taking over Bathurst duties as Holden's frontline weapon the HG GTS assumed a new role as a high performance gentleman's GT,Although official production figures have never been released it is believed that around 400 GTS350 cars were produced. This matching numbers car has been in one family ownership in NSW for many years and was sold new by a major Sydney Holden dealer. The car has in the past been subject to a repaint in the original Lakeside Green duco and the interior Houndstooth cloth trim is in perfect condition, the car is one of the best examples of this sought-after model and as with all Monaro's represents a sound investment. *Test Drive and Viewing by Appointment Only
