PRICE SLASH! 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible. 351 ci V8 Cleveland with Edelbrock intake manifold and 4bbl Holley. Can't prove but believe engine has a mild performance cam.Exhaust is dual pipe with twin exhaust tips and is on the loud side.
Dual Exhaust system is near new.
Car has an FMX automatic transmission from a 1972 Mach 1 Mustang. Very strong, heavy duty for the extra horsepower.
1970’s style original wood rim steering wheel.
Disc brake conversion on front wheels
Rallye Style wheels, nice chrome
Big white letter tyres, plenty of tread
Extra gauges and has centre console shifter from a Mach 1 (factory, so fits perfectly

Repainted front bumper (these were NOT chrome, this is how they came from the factory)

We have treated the underbody with Penetrene steel protector/converter and coated with black soundproofing underseal
Footwell behind drivers seat was cut out due to some rust and replaced with welded in Factory steel floor pressing as fitted when built
Paint has shine when washed and waxed and has usual chips and marks for a 41 year old car. Has been resprayed once but will look fantastic with new paint but fine to drive now as a weekend cruiser and go to club meetings. Fast action power hood works fine.
Market prices? There are 2 or 3 similar cars for sale in Australia with asking prices from $30000 to $35000
