This very rare & beautifully restored to original 1953 Studebaker Commander Starliner Regal 2 door hardtop was awarded 5th place outright at the 2011 Studebaker Australian National meet. The body was completely stripped back to bare metal and re-painted to its original Studebaker factory colour of ivory mist, the v8 engine has been rebuilt to 259CID with a new crank shaft, complete new clutch, brakes rebuilt, completely rewired, replaced all suspension rubbers front & rear, new rubber weather seals, rebuilt carby, starter motor & generator, replaced both 6V batteries (starts on 12V, runs on 6V), all interior trim & seats reupholstered in saddle tan vinyl, re-carpeted front & rear, new rubber mat in boot, recent set of American wide white side wall tubeless radial tyres & 2 brand new mufflers.
