I have decided to sell my beloved Stag after owning it for over 10 years - we have enjoyed touring Australia in this British classic, but our interests have moved on and now is the chance for someone else to enjoy it. The car includes a Breezebreaker windbreak which makes driving with the top down a joy with the backdraught removed. The car is fully registered after passing its roadworthy in February. The car is not purebred Triumph as it has a Rover v8 engine with a Toyota 5-speed manual gearbox and Datsun halfshafts – I believe the car is a better touring vehicle as a result and is a joy to drive both on the freeway and on winding country roads. Both a very good condition soft-top and a metal hardtop are included. The car is now very reliable – we have toured Tasmania in it with no problem at all. A number of improvements/reconditioning items have been done: • Complete rebuild of the engine including camshaft, rebore, new rings & valve regrind • Conversion from Automatic to Manual • Conversion from Triumph splined halfshafts to Datsun roller halfshafts • New wheel bearings front & back • New foams in both front seats • New Momo steering wheel • Wind deflector under front bumper –never overheats even on 35+ days • Installation of Breeze-Breaker windbreak (see photos) • New Michelin XM tyres all round – 2,000 kilometres ago

1974 MKII Stag with soft top and hard top and wind deflector. Vehicle has 3.5L Rover V8 with outstanding duel exhaust sound. Vehicle has plenty of more miles before you do a restoration, hence the price. No texts please, they will not be responded to due to scammers.
