To many enthusiasts the original Austin Healey 100 powered by the 2660cc Austin 4 cylinder engine remains the purest of Donald Healey's dreams. Introduced in August 1955, and built for 12 months only, the BN2 Austin Healey 100 was fitted with the New 4 Speed Gearbox with Overdrive, replacing the previous 3 Speed, Larger, more efficient front drum brakes and benefited from all the production upgrades made throughout the BN1 production, including, but not limited to the 5 stud rear axle, that was strong enough to be retained for the full remaining Austin Healey line up. Purchased in 1992 as a restoration project, this BN2 subsequently underwent a comprehensive rebuild and as a result, presents exceedingly well, 20+ years on! Finished in Dark British Racing Green with black interior including black leather sets with dark green piping, Chrome Wire Wheels and Moto-Lita Woodrim Steering Wheel, this Healey 100 is a picture of classic style. 1972 JAGUAR E-TYPE SERIES III OTS SN3585 CHASSIS N0:1S1308 ENG NO:7S5507SA $225,000 (Inc GST, Excl Govt Charges if Applicable) 'E': ELUSIVE EXCLUSIVE EXCITEMENT The E-Type Jaguar Series III was produced between 1971 and 1975 and was fitted with the all new V12 engine which had originally been designed as a competition engine for the Le Mans 24 Hour. The racing engine had been a DOHC and fuel injected configuration, but for cost saving, simplicity and reliability, the road going engine was fitted with redesigned SOHC cylinder heads and Zenith carburettors. As well as the aforementioned V12, the Series III had numerous specification changes, including the use of a longer wheelbase previously used only on the 2+2 coupe, for the OTS, thus improving cabin space, uprated brakes, standard power steering, optional very popular automatic transmission and air-conditioning. The short wheelbase FHC was no longer available, so the models were limited to the 2 seater roadster(OTS) and the 2+2 coupe. This Lovely example is one of just 1,871 Original Right Hand Drive Open Two Seaters built, representing 23.4% of OTS's and only 12.2% of Series III E-type production! To further increase its rarity this RHD OTS is a Factory Manual example, making this The Rarest Specification Available in Series III. Presented in Striking Red, complemented by lustrous bright-work, including Dayton 72 Spoke Chrome Wire Wheels specially ordered to suit this very car and finished with a Luxurious Black Leather Cockpit, this E-Type represents an Exceedingly Rare opportunity to obtain such a Desirable Jaguar outside of Concourse prices. 1948 MORGAN 4-4 TW0 SEATER SN3574 CHASSIS N0:079 ENG NO:Q320E $45,000 (To be sold UN-Registered & with Vic RWC) MORGAN-A TIMELESS BRITISH CLASSIC The Morgan Motor Company began manufacturing the 4-4 sports in 1936, which was their first 4 wheeled vehicle. The 4-4 designation indicated that it had 4 wheels and had a 4 cylinder engine. Initially they were fitted with a Coventry Climax engine of some 1122cc before the arrival in 1939 of the 4 cylinder Standard engine of 1267cc which developed approximately 39 horsepower compared to the previous engine's 34 horsepower. This beautiful 4-4 Sports presents very well with its sparkling British Racing Green paint, lovely black interior upholstery and trim and stylish wooden dash. An Instant classic of representing the roots of Morgan's early examples of 4 wheel vehicles. As with all Morgans of the period the body was builtup over an ash timber frame which was hand built by true woodworking craftsman. This particular Morgan has been fitted with a Jack Knight rack and pinion steering system replacing the original Burman worm and peg steering box, greatly improves the driving experience allowing for lighter, more precise use. This steering design was used on factory built Morgans from 1983 onwards, but could be retrofitted on older models with some additional modifications. Further improvements have been made to the front suspension with the fitting of telescopic shock absorbers as opposed to the original metal blade dampers. Come in for a test drive and on-hoist inspection. This is an opportunity to own and drive one of the classically styled British square rigger style sportscars of the postwar period. 1959 BRISTOL 406 ZAGATO PROTOTYPE SN:3557 CHASSIS N0:5255 ENG NO:5057 $450,000 (To be sold Unregistered and with Vic RWC) Following the successful 404/405 Bristol introduced the 406 in 1958, a Luxury Sports Saloon, which would be the final Bristol to be powered by the renowned BMW derived straight six cylinder. Upon the release of the 406, Anthony (Tony) Crook who at the time owned 40% of 'Bristol Cars' and was the leading Bristol distributor, saw the opportunity to further develop the new car. After serious discussions with Carrozzeria Zagato of Millan a design was approved, and a Prototype was constructed ready for the 1959 Earls Court Motor Show, where the Bristol 406 Zagato was unveiled to the public on Zagato's stall. Following the Prototype, Zagato built one more 406-Z before raising the roof line to accommodate taller passengers for the remaining 4 examples. Of the 6 Bristol Zagato's produced only 5 remain, after Chassis No. 5284, the first of the taller roofed examples was involved in a serious accident, and subsequently wrecked for parts by Tony Crook. The Bristol Zagato's were more than just a re-bodied 406, they boasted a weight reduction of 260KG, a 10hp power increase from 105hp – 115hp and an Abarth Stainless exhaust system, providing a significantly more sporting package, in a Grand Touring body, suitable for 4 adults. After the Prototype's grand unveiling at the Earls Court Motor Show the 406-Z remained in the UK, before being bought by a Californian gentleman in the late 70's/early 80's, and subsequently shipped to the United States. In 1988 the Prototype was sold to a gentleman by the name of Tony who drove it to Albuquerque were it was kept in the hot, dry climate on Stu Harroun's (his's brother-in-law) property. While in storage on Stu's property Tony divorced Stu's sister and the 406-Z's ownership was split 50-50. Tony moved to the UK and later fell into poor health, at which time it was decided that Stu would act as a legal agent for both his sister and Tony to sell the Bristol Zagato, which had now sat for 14 years. Listed for sale online in 2002 Sean McSharry of NSW Australia, a long time Bristol enthusiast, negotiated the purchase of the 406-Z Prototype. In Mr McSharry's ownership the Prototype was restored by Sebastian Gross of Seberi Pty Ltd over a period of 6 years. During this time extensive records, and memorabilia were collected, documenting as much of the history as possible, including emails related to: the purchase of the Prototype, supply of parts, refurbishment of parts and conversations with other 406-Z owners to verify details of the rebuild. The Bristol 406 Zagato Prototype is the very first 'Tony Crook' Bristol, produced 4 years before he took over 'Bristol Cars' as sole owner. This Incredibly Significant Bristol has been Extensivly restored to an Extremely high standard, with Impeccable paintwork & Luxurious leather trim.
