INTERNATIONAL ZEPHYR CLUBS CONVENTION.
Easter 18th April – 21st April 2014
(ALSO CELEBRATING THE QUEENSLAND CLUB'S 40th ANNIVERSARY)
Zephyr Zodiac & Consul Owners Club of Queensland has nominated to stage an International Convention of Zephyr Clubs over the Easter period in 2014 using the Belmont Shooting Complex as a base for activities.
The Belmont Shooting Complex is where we currently hold our monthly general meetings. This major sporting complex has facilities for hosting national and international events.
On the grounds of the Complex there is motel style accommodation and powered campsites available. Its location, at the intersection of the Gateway Motorway and a major arterial between the city and bayside suburbs, provides easy access to the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast, and the greater Brisbane area.
Our Club is putting together a great program of events over the Easter period; we have secured space at Brisbane’s iconic South Bank precinct to stage a display of our vehicles to the public.
To make this a success we need as many Z cars as we can muster to showcase our Club so get busy and tidy up your cars to the best of your ability and bring them along, they don’t have to be in show condition, just clean and tidy, we want every Zephyr owner involved.
Whilst at South Bank you can take in the parklands, the Queensland Museum, the Queensland Art Gallery, cross the foot bridge into Brisbane city or the Botanic Gardens, catch a City Cat ferry and tour the Brisbane river to places such as Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.
After we leave South Bank we will drive up Mt Coot-tha for a view of Brisbane city.
We are inviting all Zephyr enthusiasts from intrastate, interstate and overseas to join with us and share in our Clubs birthday celebrations.
For entry forms please address enquiries to email@example.com or phone 07 38009892.

Murrurundi Festival Committee has been busy seeking additional entertainment to provide further attractions both for locals and visitors for the King of the Ranges ‘Stockman's Challenge’ on 3-4 May 2014.
The festival committee is pleased to be joining such an important event for the town.
The festival markets will be held on both the Saturday and Sunday.
General market stalls will be set up outside the gate area of the King of the Ranges. We are also hoping to attract a vintage car display over that weekend. Options like model airplanes and miniature railway are also being pursued.
The committee is looking for children’s entertainment to complement what is on offer inside the gates of the King of the Ranges.
Setup will be near the oval area outside the King of the Ranges enclosure depending on the entertainment selected on both Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 May 2014.
We are particularly encouraged by people from our local community wanting to have stalls and static displays at the festival markets.
We invite market stall holders and those who wish to have a static display to contact Robyn Orman at the Murra County on 0419 705 753.
