Scroll down the list to find the answer to your query.

    1. Price Qualifiers

    Including Govt Charges (I.G.C)
The term “Including Govt Charges” means that the price as stated includes all government imposed duties, charges, taxes (including GST), transfer fees and stamp duty. The term “Including Govt Charges” can be used interchangeably with “Drive Away” as it signifies the total costs associated with acquiring the vehicle (but not including costs such as comprehensive car insurance). Please note that Dealers may not be able to provide the determinative cost of Government Charges unless and until your specific circumstances (e.g. driver history, geographical location, intended use of vehicle) are taken into account.

    Excluding Govt Charges (E.G.C)
When the term “Excluding Govt Charges” appears next to a vehicle price in listings, this means that the stated price excludes government-imposed duties, charges, taxes (excluding GST), transfer fees and stamp duty. The price will include the vehicle purchase price, GST and the cost of fitted vehicle options and accessories.

    No Price qualifier

Where Dealers have not qualified the listed price as “Including Govt Charges” or “Excluding Govt Charges” we recommend that you clarify the price with the dealer.

Both by law and by the JUST AUTO Network Terms & Conditions, dealer advertisements should include the vehicle purchase price as well as any tax, duty, fee, levy or charge payable by the Buyer to the Seller for the supply of the vehicle. Please be aware that Dealers are not required to include in the listed price an amount representing any tax, duty, fee, levy or charge that is, by law, payable directly by a Buyer to the Government. We recommend you to contact your local State or Territory tax office to determine precisely what financial liabilities you may incur as a result of purchasing a vehicle from a Dealer. Please also be aware that the extent of such liability (including costs such as stamp duty) may be dependent on circumstances of which the Dealer is unaware, such as your driving history and the intended use of the vehicle.

    Q. What happens if I add more vehicles than recommended for the ad package?
You are able to ad more vehicles than recommended for a particular dealer ad package. We will endeavour to fit the number of vehicles you select within the space provided for your advertisement.  However, the consequence of going over the recommended limit is that the photo size for each vehicle may have to be reduced, harming the quality of your advertisement.

    Q. Which photo will get used in the magazine advertisement for the vehicle?
The feature photo that has been selected for each vehicle will be the photo that gets used in the magazine advertisement. To change the feature photo for an ad, click the “Edit Photos” button on the ad from within your dealer inventory. Here you can change which photos have been uploaded to the ad and click the photo you wish to be the feature photo.

    Q. When is the deadline for submitting my ad for the next magazine issue?
The deadline for the next magazine issue is displayed at the top of the “Inventory” page within the “Administrator” section of your dealer site. You must have you magazine advertisements submitted before this deadline if you wish for it to appear in the next issue.

    Q. In what order will my vehicles appear in the magazine advertisement?
The order in which your vehicles will be sorted when appearing in the magazine advertisement can be changed from within the “Manage Magazine Advertising” area of your dealer admin pages. Once you have selected which ad package you wish to “Manage” and selected which vehicles you wish to appear in the ad you can change the sort order to display the ads sorted by either price, year or custom.

Automotive websites in Australia have recently been targeted by overseas scammers.
The JUST websites have not escaped their attention.

    Q. What if I receive a question from someone claiming to be ‘overseas’?
Ignore the question and report it to JUST Customer Service on (03) 5225 1333.

    Q. What payment methods are safe for buying & selling vehicles?
Cash in person, or a direct bank transfer, are much safer than making a payment via Western Union or PayPal. You should NEVER transfer money for a vehicle you haven’t seen, especially if the deal seems too good to be true, no matter how convincing and legitimate the seller seems. Only use the Western Union money transfer service for people you know and trust.
