Along with the Volkswagen Beetle and the Fiat 500, the Renault Dauphine played a significant role in pioneering the modern European economy car. Utilising an 845cc inline-4, these tiny and space-efficient cars were built with minimal fuel consumption in mind. As well as releasing the standard model, a “Gordini” version was offered. These rare examples were performance tuned by Amedee Gordini increasing the power output to 37hp, and were offered with a sporty 4-speed transmission. These vehicles saw motorsport success all over the world, including taking out the first 4 spaces at the 1956 Mille Miglia and winning the 1958 Mote Carlo Rally. Our 1961 Renault Dauphine Gordini is a factory right-hand-drive, matching numbers vehicle presenting in its original “French Racing Blue”. While the paintwork needs some attention, the bodywork is straight and rust-free, and the car runs well. This example, being highly original, needs some TLC and would make a great project car. The very rare and unique Dauphine Gordini would be a sound investment and an excellent addition to any collection. *Test Drive and Viewing by Appointment Only

The Jewett marque was introduced in 1922 under the Paige-Detroit Motor Car Company banner until it was absolved in 1926. The Ferrari 308 GTS was first introduced in 1977 as a Targa top variant of the existing GTB model. Essentially it was marketed to replace the legendary 246 Dino and sit just under their flagship 365 GT4 BB model. In keeping with Ferrari tradition, styling was entrusted to legendary design house Pininfarina and featured a much more aggressive aero package than its predecessor whilst still retaining a mid-mounted engine layout. The all new engine was a 3L V8 mounted transversely behind the drivers cockpit and featured 4 x Weber carburettors to produce 252bhp and a top speed of 251 km/h. A total of 3,219 308 GTS models were produced during their 4 year production run. This Ferrari 308 GTS was originally sold new in California, USA and was imported to Australia in the 1990s by the previous owner. During his ownership the vehicle underwent a full ground up, “nut and bolt” no expense spared restoration which was completed in 2014. This including a conversion to RHD, back to bare metal respray in its original Rosso Corsa, original matching number engine out rebuild and new period correct trim. All works were carried out by renowned Ferrari expert Carmelo Calabro in Adelaide, South Australia. It was acquired by GCCM in 2015 from the President of the South Australia Ferrari Car Club. Today it presents in overall excellent condition and is an amazing opportunity to purchase one of the highly desirable early carburettor 308 GTS models. *Test Drive and Viewing by Appointment Only
You can drive this beauty with a smile on your face everyday, turn heads wherever you go, own a car that appreciates in value the longer you keep it, or you can buy a Kia. This shape BMW 635CSi was the last one they made until the rather funky new shape in 2002. She has been well looked after her whole life, and has now been brought back to her best with newly leathered front seats, new shocks, new exhaust and new tyres. She drives great, wafting along in the way only a big old Bimmer can and hardly anyone walks past without commenting on her beautiful shark-like lines. She has her original radio, not some nasty flashing disco ball and other than a few hairline cracks in the dash, she's a lovely place to sit. If you want to drive a car that says something about you, that inspires and delights you, and that doesn't haemorrhage value year on year, this super rare German masterpiece is for you. Or... You can buy a Kia. ;) There are very few of these cars available in the country, and they're all selling for a lot more than this one. Serious buyers with reasonable offers only please. Note that now she's 30 years old she can be registered as a classic car, which means that your rego costs are only around $50 a year! I've greatly enjoyed owning and restoring this wonderful piece of history, but restoring is where I get my kicks and I can't keep them all so it's time she finds a new home. I'll COME TO YOU! To give me an excuse to drive her, if you are interested I am happy to bring her to you for a test drive within 20KMS of Maroubra Beach. Otherwise you're welcome to visit.
The Bentley Mk VI Lightweight saloon was introduced in 1951 as part of the standard Mk VI series range. This extremely limited edition model received all aluminium coachwork by H.J Mulliner in which just 41 units were produced. In addition to the lightweight construction, the standard 4.25L engine was bored to 4.6L which increased power by approximately 15bhp, meaning the vehicle provided much more spirited driving than the stock Mk VI. All these options meant the Mk VI Lightweight commanded a 50% premium over its standard brethren. This vehicle was sold new in London, UK in 1951. It was brought to Australia with its second owner in the late 1950s. It changed owners several times before the previous owner purchased the car in the late 1990s as part of his Bentley collection. It was then restored to its original condition including an engine out rebuild, bare metal respray in its original colour scheme and new interior. It comes with a large history file detailing previous ownership and some receipts for works completed. *Test Drive and Viewing by Appointment Only
The Dover is an American brand of trucks made by the Hudson Motor Car Company in Detroit Michigan. They were commonly used as US postal vehicles and were very reliable and remained in service well into the 50’s. There are very few remaining in the world with most in museums in the USA, this is believed to be the oldest known survivor in the world. Its in very good condition having been restored, its structurally sound and the paint work is great. The interior is nicely trimmed. The wood wheels are in good condition as are the tyres. Having been a museum display piece its always’ a very popular exhibit. This would be a great promotional vehicle, museum piece or unique collectable. A rare opportunity to buy a vehicle like this. The BMW M5 has been one of the most successful sports sedans throughout its 32-year production, providing a classy combination of comfort and performance. The Chevrolet utes were extremely popular in the USA throughout the 1940’s and 50’s and prior to locally built Holden’s and Fords they were a common sight on Australian roads. Now days they are few and far between. Having had an older frame off restoration in the 1980’s the ute is in structurally and mechanically sound condition but there are some rust and bodywork issues that will need attention. All the exterior chrome is straight and shiny. Overall mechanically in good order it starts and runs well and has just had a new brake booster fitted. The engine bay is tidy and original and powered by a 235cu 6 cylinder and manual transmission. Inside the interior is in excellent condition with no tears in the seats, door cards and carpets. A rare old ute that with a little TLC will make for a practical collectable or a cool rat rod or street machine. PLEASE NOTE: ODOMETER IN MILES *Test Drive and Viewing by appointment Only
