Martin Lundstedt has been appointed as the new President and CEO of Scania AB. Lundstedt replaces Leif Ostling, who has been appointed member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG.

Joining the Swedish truck manufacturer in 1992, Lundstedt has held various senior positions, including head of Scania’s industrial operations in France from 2001 to 2005 and Senior Vice President, Trucks until 2007, when he assumed the position of Executive Vice President and Head of Franchise and Factory Sales. Lundstedt vacates that role to take up his new position on September 1st.
